    Hi

I'm sorry in advance for lack of technical lingo in this post.

I've had my MBP for about 3 or so months now and lately the keys haven't been so much sticking but, staying?
So basically whenever I type a certain letter or whatever it seems to stay on that and instead of just getting, for example, a 'r' I would get 'rrrrrrrrrrr'. And this doesn't stop until I press another key, and it just stops.

Is there anyone I can stop this?!

    Thanks!

Have you updated to the latest version of OS X? If so, then perhaps you are going to have to bring your Mac to an Apple store.

    Yep, I have 10.5.4

I may have to, it's not a major issue yet but I don't really want it to become one. At the same time I also don't really have the time to back up all my stuff.

to the apple store with you.

make a genius bar appointment online and then go in. They'll take care of it.

Well, I'm sure its not going to get any worse, but its an annoyance that shouldn't be happening with any normal Mac. So get your money's worth of it and have Apple fix the problem! :)

I have had similar issues ever since OS X was released. Not sure if it's the keyboards or the software or what. However my keys don't stay stuck. I do get a lot of double and tripple (<--see) letters even though I'm typing fast enough for it to not happen. I always have to go back and edit my typing when I normally wouldn't have to.

Yep exact same thing, it's really annoying, time efficiency is lost... haha.
Hopefully the fix doesn't take long though.

    Thanks!

its probably just a small keyboard problem. just some keyboard re seating or something.
