VERY frustrating, brand new Macbook, maybe a month old; trying to stream a live basketball game on it and it is freezing every couple of seconds. I know it might be the website etc, but what can I do to fix any problems that might be due to my computer?

Come to think of it my internet in general has been much slower than when I first got my Mac. I have hardly downloaded anything. What can I do?

Is it an aluminum Macbook? I heard it is causing some sort of interference...

I think it's the internet slowing down, and not your MB. The bandwidth is most likely getting eaten up by the live streaming, and therefore not hitting it's potential speeds. It might be the router slowing down also. It's happening to me also, and I think it's just the router acting up again. ;)

Cool hopefully it's that. Still though any plugins or programs that might help?

Yep it's the aluminum, what do you mean by interference?

he means its acting like a faraday cage, but in reality it causes little if any interference. it's definitely your connection and not the macbook.

Not much, other than raising some concerns with your ISP.

Try changing the channel on which your router is broadcasting. Chances are teh wireless channel is becoming too congested.
