In about a month I'll be in the US and I'm hoping to pick up a laptop there (laptops here cost about 25% more than in the states). My search has mostly been for an Asus G1S but the new MacBook Pro is looking very tempting. I've heard Apple stores give a 10% discount on their products for students. Now I'm a student in the Netherlands, will I recieve a discount because of that or must I study in the US to get it?

    Also, is Apple's waranty a world-wide deal?
