After years of Dell laptops last year I switched to a 15in Macbook Pro. Along with the switch I installed MS Office on the MBP and moved everything over from my Dell with no problem. For the most part I have no issues with either the MBP or Office. However, I'm now thinking about adding a 13" MBP and I also use an iPhone. I've got years of calendar entries in Outlook and the same with my contacts in Outlook. I'd like to find a seamless was to move or sync this Outlook data so I can share, access and sync it between the two laptops and have some or all access via my phone as well. Was hoping that Office 365 was the solution but that doesn't appear to be the case.

So far I haven't found the ideal situation. Each one I find seems to have compromises that would result in some loss of data or would require manual re-entry which just isn't going to happen in my lifetime. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions that might help out?

I'm not interested in mail. What's critical are my contacts and notes that accompany the contacts and my calendar. It would be perfect to be able to make an entry on either of the three devices and have it sync to the other two. The issue seems to be how MS has changed the data format in Office 2011 for Macs....but that's a pay grade beyond me.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Need more info on how I use Outlook?

    Thanks for your time.
