    Technical specifications of the internal webcam MacBook Pro and Air?

    hello guys i'm looking for some technical specifications of the macbook pro and macbook air' webcam, i'm doing a college research and i need this for my project.
    Anyone who do have any idea of these specification or where i can find them?
    I'm getting crazy looking for, please help!!

    i need to know:
    focal length
    Field of view in both directions
    resolution in mega pixels
    F/#
    and some information about the entrance pupil position in relation to the screen glass.
    About Isight, and Facetime HD. from 2009 till now.

    Unfortunately, for you, Apple has not released that information. I don't even think they've released that information for the front-facing camera on the iPhone 5S. The only information they've released is the resolution at which the cameras record video (it's all in Wikipedia). You can convert that resolution to megapixels but that's about it. Sorry but, unless someone has taken apart a MacBook Pro/Air, obtained the model for the camera along with lens information, and contacted the manufacturer, that information just isn't going to be available. You may try to look on iFixit to see if they have at least listed a model number, that would be a good start for you.

    Otherwise you will have to settle with the resolution, the only aspect given my Apple.
