    lol umad?

iPad 2 is clearly the best tablet on the market by just about every measure and metric. Presuming the article isn't BS, it's no surprise that she'd want one, considering she has other iDevices. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

    wait...I'm not.

And why would it be "asking for flame derailment" for saying someone has good taste for wanting an iPad 2? bitter tears are bitter.

yea, not a credible source at all. who knows.

Pretty sure I'd rather have a Xoom...
    Honeycomb 3.1 is pretty nifty.

that's cool. When Android gets a better selection of top-tier apps, I'll definitely consider one. For now? It's not there yet. Maybe by the time Ice Cream Sammich launches...

I agree about the source and I already stated as much (perhaps you failed to read that?). Whether she has one or not, it doesn't detract from the product...so...yea.

No, you failed to edit your post before I read it. Bit derpy today are we?

iPad and the iPad 2 are still the most ridiculous products ever, next to those cheesy no-name toys that you see randomly placed at Winn-Dixie. I have never seen such an... *looks up synonym of brainwashed* influenced group of consumers...

Perhaps you should have waited until I replied to YOU before typing your response then? After all, in the post you quoted, I was quite clearly replying to someone else. In your zeal, you managed to reply as if I was talking to you. Had you waited for me to read and reply to YOUR post, you wouldn't have been confused. Right? Right. Glad we're all on the same page now.

    LOL. oh, I see.

But the Motorola Xoom looks great to your eyes? REALLY?

LOL. This is why I come here. All these comedic posts from the few like yourself. You tickle me so. Please, continue.

Nope, why would I be mad? I've owned a MBP and iPhone and many other non-Apple devices, but just because I've used an Apple product doesn't make me crazy about all their products. Your response and assumptions clearly indicates your fanboyism, which was the point of my previous post. I'm just saying that looks are subjective and your point doesn't really add anything of value except to start the fire that will lead to people flaming you. The iPad 2 is a great tablet overall, but certainly not the best in any category.

I'm definitely not an Apple fanboy, but that's a pretty outlandish statement to make. Not the best in any category? Putting aside the obvious silliness of the fact that I could easily invent "categories" that the iPad is clearly the winner in, I'd place the iPad 2 the best tablet for sheer number of apps and usability for reading things like magazines due to the 4:3 aspect ratio. And whether you agree or disagree with Apple's philosophies, it's also the most "polished" tablet on the market right now.

I personally have a Xoom and my fiance has an iPad 2 and while I like both devices, hands down the iPad is far more polished than anything else I've seen, including my Xoom.
