    that you can't use it to play DVDs (though you might be able to rip one to it). I find this odd for such an exve device. You are on the road, want to rent a DVD, no dice with the IPAD.

    That assumes good internet access, which I don't always have on the road, though probably usually would admittedly...I have not, to date, been much of an Apples guy, so am not really up to speed on iTunes.

    If you need to rent a DVD while on the road you didn't plan very well. The iPad wasn't designed to have a DVD player for a reason. Although, I'm sure if it played DVDs you would have posted that it can't play BluRay.
