My current laptop in my sig is on its way out, considering the MBA (13") for a replacement.

So, with Broadwell delays pushing it back to q1 of 2015 at the earliest, what exactly are we expecting in a refresh (if it happens between then and now)? And when is it expected? Am I right in thinking October? Would you wait and see?

How plausible are those Retina Air rumors, in terms of coming out before Broadwell this October? Or are the Retina Airs more likely to be tied to Broadwell? That's what I would think, trading off its power efficiency for a more power hungry retina panel.

The MBA received a CPU speed bump in April. In the unlikely event of an update before Broadwell, expect maybe another 100 MHz increase.

As for a MacBook Air with Retina Display, there is no way to know if there is any truth to it. If it is to exist, it will likely remain closely guarded until shortly before release. If you need a new computer right now, buy it now. Consider a refurbished model if you want to save a bit of cash from the outset.
