Forgive me for asking such an elementary question...
When you're running Windows in Bootcamp, do all the features of the touch pad (like right click with two fingers) work?
-
-
Yes they do.
-
everything works except for the tap on the trackpad for a click.
-
That's like saying "Everything works, except for everything."
-
Not really. A lot of people disable the touchpad click feature in their OS anyway because they don't like to hit it while they're typing. This happens a lot with bigger trackpads that we have now, especially like what you find on the Macs. You can still use the button to click; it's not a huge deal.
-
Sorry; I like to exaggerate. It is a pretty big deal to me though, since I am so used to tapping the touchpad, and since I can only click the button by pressing right in the middle. Holding down two fingers (without scrolling) and clicking with my thumb is very awkward, and even uncomfortable. I miss having a middle click as well.
For me, the touchpad is the largest thing that makes using the Macbook a chore, rather than a pleasure. -
tapping the touchpad ftw. hopefully this option appears one day.
-
tapping the touchpad ftl. :-D
Well, mine doens't work anymore lol. Thats what happens when you run the wrong file and windows automatically installs the wrong drivers.
