    1) Possible to upgrade macbook LCD panel to 1080p?
    2) Will any SSD work, Im specifically looking at those hybrid SSD drives from seagate.
    3) According to some sources, such as OWC, you can put a max of 6gb in this macbook? do you have buy a specific brand for it to work?

    No.

The Seagate hybrid drive is basically a traditional hard drive with a 4-8 GB (depending on which size you choose, 500 or 750 GB) SSD attached to it to serve as cache for frequently accessed files. If you're going to continue using your optical drive, as I do, the Momentus XT is a great compromise between space and speed.

If you don't need that much storage, you can get by with a traditional SATA SSD.

If it's a recent MacBook, you should be able to upgrade to 8 GB. Exactly what are the specs of the machine in question?

silly me, its a 2.26 ghz core 2 duo, 2 ram slots, currently 4gb ram, 250gb hdd. i knew the lcd thing was kind of a longshot but i hear of other laptop owners doing things like that, but never mac. come to think of it I could do with an external optical drive ( i rip about 2-3 audio cds a month)
