    Hey everyone,

I was wondering if I should upgrade my Ram to improve the speed of my computer when it comes to common applications and gaming. I was thinking 4GBs would be useful, seeing that the current price of the upgrade would cost about $120. However, I have Windows Vista on bootcamp for which I use for gaming, and I've heard that its doesn't use 4GBs of Ram very well; thats why I contemplate just getting 3GBs. If upgrading my Ram to 3 or 4 GBs won't significantly enhance the speed of my computer I won't bother.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks a lot and Happy Holidays!

I'd say if you plan to go beyond 2 GB, just go right to 4 GB of RAM. 3 GB seems to be the "awkward" combination. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I'm just the type that either goes with nothing or something more than just average.
