    Hey
a while back i upgraded to Leopard and i reformatted when i did so. Im looking to install the whole iLife suite without having to buy the new version. Is the old version on my original install discs?

    Thanks Zak

Yeah, on Disk 1 there should be an icon saying "Install Bundled Software Only" or something similar to that. At least, that's what it says on my Tiger disks.

Yeah, its in the discs that came with your Mac. Its commonly misconcepted that Leopard will get you iLife '08, when in fact iLife is bundled with the Mac and not the OS. To get back your old iLife, its in your original Install Discs :).

just to give you that warm fuzzy feeling, imovie 06 is reportedly better than imovie 08 (several key features missing) - the whole debacle caused apple to offer up imovie 06 to the 08 customers.

(just to know you aren't being left in the dust or anything, ilife 06 is still fully supported by leopard)
