This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I just came across a great site that list a ton of useful apps for your new Mac. I have posted it in the stickied thread as well. There are some pretty useful apps that I have not heard about before, especially good for those new mac owners.

    Hi Sam! Thanks for the wonderful compliments you left me the other day :). I'd gladly return the favor, but I need to spread the wealth first, if you know what I mean. I've been neglecting the reputation feature. I'm going to retrace my tracks and hopefully award the proper people - I know I missed A LOT!

    It would definitely be a useful link. taelrak mentioned a consolidation of the Mac Utilities, Games, and More thread. I didn't look too closely at this site, but the format seems like a good template. At least I think new Mac users (switchers) would be attracted to the graphics :D. I'm not suggesting that you personally consolidate that thread, just that this link is nice looking. Peace.

    That's not what I meant. You really deserve it. I think the last 10-12 times I've click the rep button was to rep you, but I can't :). How many smiley faces is that now, not enough in my opinion? I've been really picky about assigning rep points for some reason.

    Just so you guys know, iEatBrains is an awesome app. It will take songs you chose and find tags for them, I had some Frank Sinatra, ripped from some vinyls and this found all of the tags for me. Give it a try.
