The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have been looking around for some newsgroup reader (usenet) and I'm looking for something preferably free or open source with a nice simple GUI. It seems to me I have yet to find one I like, my first one 'MT NewsWatcher' was not user friendly at all, and lacked an appealing GUI as well, it made me feel like I was stuck back in 16bit color with a 640x480 resolution back in 1993.

    Any special recommendation from Apple users here?
