A few times I inquired about using Windows on a Mac. Some expressed skepticism. Some said Windows would run slower. It turns out a colleague of mine runs windows on a Mac, albeit a desktop. He says there is no problem, it does not run slower. He likes it because of the higher quality screen and the superior hardware of a Mac.

He also has an Ipad. That he is more skeptical about. He said that it is basically a big Ipod. He felt that it would mostly appeal to a niche market, since it cannot replace the Ipod/Iphone or a notebook. It could make sense, say. for someone who does not need a notebook and commutes on public transport alot....Note something I am planning on buying.

I rate this troll a 1/10, only because someone will agree with you on the above "point."

Windows on a Macbook - less battery run time than MacOS.

Windows on an iPad - not possible. Different CPU architecture.

Gee, I think that is pretty obvious. Certainly relevant info for people thinking about running Windows on a Mac.

Didn't mean to suggest otherwise. I was trying to make an entirely separate point.

I'm going close this thread as it is not a topic that requires a separate thread.
