    Video card drivers?

    So if i get a MBP with the 8600m gt what drivers are installed? do i need to worry about that if i install boot camp and run vista for games? Are the drivers the same no matter what OS i am in?

    I'm not sure exactly what drivers will be installed, but you will definitely want to install updated drivers from laptopvideo2go.com, you will get much better performance. The only thing is you will get some screen brightness issues.

    I'm currently using the 169.04 drivers for win xp.

    drivers run between the operating system and hardware. In other words, you won't be using the same drivers for windows and OSX. So whatever driver you install for windows you will use in windows only. You do not need to update your drivers manually in osx. I hope that answers your question?
