I dont know how to get the vietnamese input in OS, it does not seem to function. And I dont think they have the VNI style input, which I'm so used to on Windows.

    Thanks for the response...

You can go to System preference > International > Input menu. Then click to choose Vietnamese Keyboard. I think it's Vietnamese VNI. I can help you much cause I', using Leopard right now. Just give it a try, I think it's easy to find out.

    Thanks.

I can type VNese in Leopard with the MAC at school.

I think I'm in good shape for now, but it would be very helpful if I can type VNese VNI style in MAC OS X. I don't think I can afford Leopard for now.

I did try to go to System Preference/International/ and check the tick at Vietnamese in the input list, but it does not seem to work. Sometimes the character wouldn't appear at all.

(Mac OS X already have neccessary font Unicode. So For using Vietnamese on Mac OS X, you just need to install vietnamese input)

(Above is some step to install it:
    -Download (Vietnamese keyboard layouts here
-Double click on picture (disk image - .dmp), double click on file that install.
    -Restart computer after complete install.
-To use Vietnamese keyboard input, open SP, double click con International.
-Stick on the checkbox VN input that u want to use. Then Close SR.
-Then U just need to choose type of input like those pics)

(Then u can type Vietnamese in most of application on Mac. 1 Disadvantage of this app is u cant type .... (dont know what that's called in ENGLISH) ^^... just like this: á à ạ ả. U need to type it in the right letter. U cant type it at the end of word liked Unikey or Vietkey. For example: chửa, if u type it at the end of word, it will come up to chưả... Beside, I found the link to download Unikey - uvconverter but all link ddeath already.

Vơí Mac OS X 10.2 và cũ hơn dùng bảng 1.6 và bộ chuyển mã văn bản sau:
    Vietnamese-1.6.dmg (321 KB) and UVConverter-1.1.3b.dmg (332 KB)
(Some Mac OS X 10.2 or older version use Vietnamese-1.6.dmg or UVconverter.)

Download tại đây: http://www.echip.com.vn/echiproot/weblh/kho/vn/ (If U want to use VNI, TCVN or another font, u can download it from this link and just need to drap and drop it into FontBook.)

I'm sr... I'm just oversea student.. my E is not really good. Hope U can read it... Any further information, u can contact me with this email or IM: [email protected]... I'm glad to help u guy..
