    Bummer.

I can't seem to keep both Fusion and Boot Camp activated.

If I boot into Boot Camp and activate, then when I boot Windows using Fusion it's not activated in Fusion. Then after activating in Fusion... yeah, not activated in Boot Camp.

So far, I just activate and it's successful, but I can't see the working forever, plus, those clowns are going to wonder why I activate so often... argh.

FWIW, I performed my initial activation in Boot Camp.

I've been having this issue with XP. When I got Fusion and launched my Boot Camp partition, it said that there had been substantial hardware changes and that I needed to re-activate XP in 3 days. I just went back to Boot Camp and did this, and haven't tried Fusion again out of fear. Anyone know why this is happening, and what I can do to fix it?

my XP pro install via parallels works just fine. Im scared to up to vista though for this very reason. I dont want to get back in activation Hell.

are you both running updated fusions?

from what i understand....and this is how i did it. Install bootcamp OS, do drivers from apple cd, activate. Boot to OSX, and run VM. let it install VM tools BEFORE attempting activation. once thats done, let it reboot the VM, and then re-activate. Is this the process you both followed to a T?

I didn't activate it in Fusion, maybe that's my problem. When it wanted to activate, I just shut that down and went back to Boot Camp, haven't used Fusion since. I'll give that a shot.
