This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Vista and existing Boot Camp Partition

    I have BootCamp on my Macbook which has XP installed. If I want to upgrade it to Vista, could I just upgrade through the partition? Or would you recommend that I delete the partition and do a fresh install?

    I would recommend waiting until a release of Boot Camp that is known to support Vista is released before trying to upgrade. Although it is possible to upgrade in the current beta, you will experience a number of issues.
