WWDC is coming up and I was wondering if you guys think the MBP will get a minor refresh (processor/OS). I wasn't sure whether to wait after the first or two of June to purchase a new MBP or just pick one up now!
-
I Doubt it.

I think we'll see a minor CPU upgrade, possibly RAM as well, to match and/or exceed the white MacBook specs to the aluminum MacBooks, but I don't see anything for the MBPs.
I think they'll announce when Snow Leopard will be available, but i don't think they'll release it at WWDC.
But, you might want to wait anyway. You never know. -
I don't see MBP getting updated soon neither...What is there to add?
GPU? probably another renamed card, with more memory?
Quad core support? doubt they'll do it until 32nm chips. -
I agree. There will definitely NOT be a GPU upgrade or RAM. The best bets are processor, which I doubt and OS (announcement or release of Snow Leopard?). What is the policy regarding the release of a new OS after purchasing a system with a previous OS?
-
wait for the refresh. newegg cleared their apple laptop inventory just recently and now cannot be bought on their website.
-
perhaps gpu refresh but everything else is up to date with it.
-
What GPU refresh do you think there will be? -

GPU and RAM refresh is highly unlikely. Apple's pattern has been to keep the GPU for 2 generations to get lower cost from longer term contracts. 8GB of DDR3 is cost prohibitive so I can't see them doubling the standard memory configurations.
Refreshes will most likely be limited to clock speed bumps. Just like the White MacBook just got a bump to 2.13GHz from 2GHz, because Intel has replaced the 2GHz P7350 with the 2.13GHz P7450 for no extra cost. This was the same as the MacBook Pro mid-range getting a bump from 2.53GHz T9400 to 2.66GHz T9550 and the CTO from 2.8GHz T9600 to 2.93GHz T9800, since Intel is selling them for the same price.
Intel is replacing the 2.4GHz 3MB P8600 with the 2.66GHz 3MB P8800 and the 2.93GHz 6MB T9800 with the 3.06GHz 6MB T9900 at not extra cost. The MacBook Pro is most likely going to get these bumps. The current 35W 2.66GHz 6MB T9550 doesn't look to have a direct replacement, but Apple will probably bump to the upcoming 25W 2.8GHz 6MB P9700. The entire MacBook Pro lineup will most likely get 4GB DDR3 standard and HDDs will be bumped to 250GB/320GB to 320GB/500GB. It'd be nice if they decided to include a Mini-DP to VGA adapter standard like how the MacBook Pro used to come with a DVI-VGA adapter, but that seems unlikely.
