yeah, the same thing happens to me..
you cant alt tab, you can only minimize it making it smaller on your screen by pressing cmd+m

about the freezing, try minimizing it before you close the game.. and try not to quit the game right after the game finishes... go through all the menus back top the home screen and exit the game..

ps: you should either play on windows or start playing HoN

theorically it should be fine but if it freezes on windows, then, it's a bad sign. you may have got a lemon.

No, it happens on PCs under XP and Vista too. I have the same issue on three systems where if you quit via the game, it will sometimes just lock up basically. Luckily, in Vista, the three finger salute lets you use task manager to terminate the application, but XP locks hard and requires a reboot.

I've just adjusted to minimizing and using task manager to kill WoW when I'm finished playing. This works for XP and Vista. Basically quitting in game is a crap shoot whether it will terminate and quit successfully or pseudo quit and lock.

This has been around since ~3.1. All my systems use Nvidia cards of some sort (280M, 8200, 280 SLI).

    It isn't just Macs.

so, is this a new mac? if yeah, i would suggest you bring it to them and then complain that warcraft freezes when you cmd-tab. show it to them on os x only as if you show them on windows, it will give them another reason to blame windows for these problems.

the thing is that, i can't cmd-tab out of warcraft, at all. and it only freezes after an hour and a half of warcraft. but after one game, it'll just like stutters for like a few sec before warcraft closes.

i think it's more a software problem than a hardware problem most likely a bug in the game but if the mac still had warranty, i suggest you bring it to an apple store for a check up. i'm almost certain it's a problem with the game and not the mac.
