Would you rather watch Steve Jobs announce the new products in a video and be surprised all the way through or read a short article with all the new products revealed? You could bookmark this link, and when Apple posts the keynote on their site, MacRumors will update the link to include a direct link to the keynote so you don't have to know all the new products and announcements before seeing the MacWorld keynote, it's the second best thing to seeing it live!

Nice, thanks!

Websites do that alot. During E3 and CES. I like this. You can update the blog with pictures and things like that.

Actually, they update that article above with Apple's link of the keynote so you actually get to watch the keynote before knowing the new products.

Yeah, unfortunately, the keynote video stream doesn't show up for a while, so unless you isolate yourself from the internet, you'll most likely find out beforehand

Since I can never make the Macworld times (I'm in school during the keynotes), I can't follow by liveblogging, so I end up reading MacRumors or going right to Apple.com to see how Apple announces what. -
Speaking of Macworld 2008, bloggers and journalists at Moscone early managed to sneak a picture of a presentation on Steve Jobs' keynote floor...not sure if its actually a test run of the keynote, but worth an observation anyhow:
That's GarageBand. -
How bout this year you be a good boy and wait till the stream comes online till you look online? Try it that way and see if it works better for you. See if it gets you more pumped about the things. That is definitely what I am going to try to do.

This year I'll wait for the 15th, and then I'll hide on my design blogs, and play Sims or something.
I'm definitely not going on forums, listening to news or whatever. or talking to Sam.
I honestly want to try not knowing it until I get to watch a stream of the keynote. -
on the morning of the 15th, just turn on your computer, open as many terminal windows as you can, and type "yes" in all of them, hopefully that will keep the computer busy enough to not even be able to open an internet browser.
-
Edit: Its actually 9 AM Pacific time... The stream probably won't be up until 11 AM-ish, which where I'm at in the world would be 2 PM. Guess I'll have a late lunch! -

Hrm... well, I watch the keynotes anyway. A lot of time the bloggers miss points. Like when Steve was talking about the iPhone being on AT&T and it wasn't really going to be a full exclusive and will be on other carriers eventually, most missed that.
Nice thing about the blog version, you don't have to see that ass hat treat people like idiots. Well, I dunno... maybe all his keynotes aren't as bad as the iPhone one, but I wanted to strangle jobs 15 min in. He doesn't need to repeat the same bloody phrase every 30 seconds... We got it the first time... -

I'm making sure not to read that, it's more interesting to be surprised during the keynote!

Taking a quick look at it tells me it's probably fake. BTW, the Mac Pro has already been refreshed to Penryn, so that's one of the reasons it's probably fake and the info about that is off. I doubt the only thing big things Apple is announcing are the iPhone SDK and the "MacBook Air" (which is the rumored name of the new MB portable), if the keynote was really leaked it'd atleast name the new MacBook. It's a fake keynote made from rumors and based from how Apple usually holds their keynotes.
Watch the kenynote before knowing all the details, click here to find out how
