    I am in the market to buy a ssd for my new on the way notebook and I saw one of these on Craig's List, seller says it is Apple branded. Let me know what information you guys have on this drive!Thanks

    They are Samsung SSDs. What's the size and the price of that particular one on CL?

    Apple, like most other notebook manufacturers, is using Samsung SSDs as tenderidol had already mentioned. :)

    I would ask the seller to write whatever is written on the drive in an e-mail (minus the serial I guess), so that you can research "that" particular model, since there are quite a bit of differences with early and most recent SSDs in terms of reliability, performance, etc. Knowing only the brand will not help much to figure out whether it's a good choice or not...

    Ah okay so it is a Samsung drive, does anyone have any speed specs or anything? I don't suppose $250 is an awesome price either way however
