In an effort to expand my OS X exposure, I'm trying to get an idea of what everybody does with there Mac daily. My list below.
- Firefox (I've tried 3 browsers now)
- Adium
- iTunes
I'm kinda dissapointed so far, my Mac doesn't have me on a creative frenzy like I would like. Any tips on really getting into the iLife suite, such as the extended features of iPhoto, iCal, etc etc?

Well, iPhoto is great for photo organizing...if you take photos
.
I personally like Camino for a web browser...its much nicer and more Mac-based than Firefox. Safari is nice, but too heavy on brushed metal for my taste. -
- Firefox
- Outlook 2007
- Oblivion (weekly or so)
- Hauppauge WinTV 2000 -
Sneaky_Chopsticks Notebook Deity
Safari...And bootcamp with windows.

I too feel like im under utilizing my mac lol. -
To the OP, you can find a lot of use from the iLife Suite. Open iPhoto or iDVD or iCal and click on the Help menu and there's a list of all the features of each plus Apple offers a link in the help menu with free video tutorials on how to use them. For iPhoto I make a lot of photo books for my friends and family when there's a wedding or birthday coming up. I make a lot of DVD's from iDVD just using still pics from iPhoto. There's a lot you can do.
If you have an iPod and want to put your videos or DVD's on it I use a piece of free software called HandBrake. You can download it from www.versiontracker.com. Handbrake shrinks the video to the size to fit your iPod. Very easy to use. I also play games like Quake and Call of Duty 2. If you don't have Microsoft office you can try a very good and recommended free office app called Neo Office. It offers a spreadsheet program, word processing and presentation. It's fully compatible with MS Office for transferring files and supports the new XML file format for Word docs. You can also get this from versiontracker. -

Funny, only one uses Apperture and not a single one use for Adobe Photoshop, in any of it's format, nor any use of Lightroom! I would have thought Mac users are BIG on using imaging application and that many here would vote on that.
