I'm a great Opera fan, myself. It seems like every time I turn around I'm finding another must-have feature.

I read something about Camino being like Firefox with better OS X integration. What's applescript have to do with a web browser? I'm just kinda curious as to what's out there, and thought it'd be fun to make a poll, even though I'm going to be trying them all out myself anyways ;)

Because all of the I.E. users will just get 'Page Cannot Be Displayed' when they try to view this poll?

    :D

    :p

I use FireFox. I love it.

    :)

This is OS X page people...just making sure anyways, but Internet Explorer for Mac is discontinued....

I don't own a Mac, but when I use the Mac at school I use Firefox. They have all the browsers installed, but I'm just used to Firefox.

    Same here.

They have a Mac in my home school's office class, and whenever I'm there, if I need to look something up, I use FireFox.

In case you're curious on the percent breakdown of what browsers are used on this site, IE is #1, FF #2, Opera #3 and read the attachment for the rest :D

    Interesting...wow IE is still first?

Safari is pretty close to Opera...lots of Mac users here :D.

Market share is a poor indicator of quality of the actual product.

It's absolutely inconceivable to me that IE would be anyone's favorite browser. :D

Also, Microsoft don't make Mac versions of IE no more...

NO.. it depends. In my homeland, where internet is not tat good (well, mayb just that i dun have a good connection) i use IE. But in germany, i use Firefox nearly all d time. It just has that extra protection than IE, mentally and physically.

IE has a big chunk becoz it comes with windows, if IE were a stand alone, it wouldnt have much chance against the other company.

I use Firefox. I only recently moved to a MacBook after years as a literate PC user, and still use a PC at work, so it's nice to have a consistent browser. Safari is OK, but I like Firefox better.

I use firefox. I didn't even consider Safari or Opera because I love zotero so much (it's a library and bibliography management extension for Firefox... and it's just wonderful for a student like me...).

Well, this is the Mac OS X "Which Browser Do You Use", so they're talking about which browser do you use on Mac OS X. There's no Windows to "influence" Internet Explorer for Mac...

I use Firefox, but sometimes I have to use IE via parallels to view online presentations. I wish Firefox could someway figure out how to view Powerpoint presentations.

I think IE 7 is a lot nicer than the previous versions, but Firefox is my bread and butter.

Are you talking about .mht files? Those do run under FF 2.0. Single file and multi file PP presentations work.

Go for Shiira. Not 2.0b2 but 1.2.2. It's the fastest web browser out there.

No real surprises there, although I'd take those figures with a grain of salt, since it doesn't (and can't) take into account spoofed user-agent strings. Many of those IE hits may not actually be from IE.

At work I primarily use Safari, along with FF on sites with heavy Javascript. At home, I use FF exclusively.

I like Firefox over Safari only because I can double click the bar to add a tab and right click copy paste pictures. Firefox has a nicer look to it imo also.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I just downloaded Shiira, looking forwards to trying it out. It seems to have some neat features. (though, I think the tabs-expose thing might not work too well with my usual 20-50)

I like firefox, opera, and safari. Just tried Camino tonight and it sure is fast.

Unfortunately I'm finding that for a lot of my work applications I'm forced to use IE... blah

safari is my preference - it loads faster. I also prefer the bookmark managing system.
