Hey Guys, I am just wondering what configuration can you purchase at an Apple store.

I am looking at purchasing a new MBP within the next few days. Yes I know there are rumors of a MBP redesign, but I want something I know will work. And in 2 years I will upgrade again anyways. :)

I am looking at the 2.6 with the 1920X1200 LED screen. Can you buy these at the local Apple stores? Or are this custom orders from Apple.com only?

    Cheers

I believe you can only purchase the base models shown on the Apple website. They do add RAM as well. But any other options need to be custom ordered.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking anyways. Plus ram and HDD upgrade will be done by myself. Don't see the point of spending that kinda cash for those small upgrades. $250 for 100mhz faster seems steep to me for the 2.6 ghz processor.
