    Hi All,
I'm not trying to start another Mac vs. PC battle, just want some opinions. I know this is a common topic but I couldn't find any good up to date (2010) information. I currently use PCs but am very interested in the MBP. I know the basics that PCs are good for gaming and Macs are generally good for media applications. What I'm wondering is what do Macs or OSX offer that PCs or Windows 7 do not? All opinions and thoughts are welcome. Thanks everyone!

    Nothing. They're all computers.

Aside from doing things different, they do the same stuff.

    Okayyyyy...

The only thing Macs offer that PC's do not is the OS X and a different experience. Whether it's better or not is subjective. But it's different.

From my experience Macs offer a much longer battery life, which is really nice.

I think MBPs also offer the user the real ability to ditch the mouse. The trackpad + Better Touch Tool is awesome.
