Recently I heard my people are talking about the release of iphone 5. There are rumors that the incoming iphone 5 may have the following new features:
    1. LTE Connectivity
    2. NFC (including the iWallet, and iTunes Gifting)
    3. Crack-proof Glass
    4. 3D Photography
    5. Multiplayer Gaming
    6. Audio Sharing Network
    7. Advanced Haptics
    8. The Photographer’s Timer
    What are your expectations? Why?
    Welcome to share your opinion!

Multiplayer gaming has been around for some time on iOS.

6-8 might be software features of future versions of iOS. 1-4 might be hardware features of a future iPhone.

If you turn on "airplane mode" and throw your iPhone, it will become a transformer jet robot

OUCH 1 out of 8. I must admit I was very underwhelmed I really wanted NFC, better front camera ( good grief its now the bottom of the spectrum ), standardized wireless charging as I now have 3 mats and 10 devices. Much better battery life which I suspect we will not see. and goodness did we really need to screw up the new port that much going from one propitiatory cable to another?. I really dont like the new SIM as it seems to not be backward comparable so I cant fast swap to another phone or device either.

for me its a wait to the 5s I think

I felt like it was an incremental improvement on the iPhone 4S, but not groundbreaking in any way. A refined and pleasant-to-use product if you've already chosen iOS as your mobile OS of choice, but if you're a platform agnostic weighing the new-tech-loaded Lumia 920 (OIS camera, wireless charging, glove-and-fingernail-friendly touchscreen, etc) or the huge-screened-and-feitherweight Galaxy S3 (only marginally heavier despite having a 0.8" larger screen and expandable memory for the same base price), the iPhone 5 is going to be a tough sell.

To a certain degree, I think the iPhone 5 is the MBP 13 of the smartphone world. A nicely-refined product for people who know they want the Apple OS, but not something that can compete in a back-to-back OS-agnostic comparison.

I know... every other product they make, even the new iPods aren't numbered... so everything is un-numbered except the iPhone now.

I'm still waiting to see what they call the New iPad (TM) when the iPad 4 is right around the corner.

I know they used to number the iPad, but they stopped since the latest is just called iPad.
because its not "New iPad" its just "iPad" ... thats just a joke people started doing because it didn't have a number.

Of course they said "the new iPad" when they introduced it, just like if you tell someone "I bought a new car" doesn't mean its literally named "new car"
