1.83ghz, 1gb ram, 100gb hdd, 15" matte, airport, bluetooth, backlit keyboard
good condition, just a few cosmetic scratches on the underside, it's a really good laptop for media editing and a beautiful screen for movies. I'm getting something smaller for travel purposes, so this one's up for sale.

    He's asking 1100??

Should I offer him less? This looks like a Rev A. Machine so maybe I should let it go? What do you all think?

    Thanks!

So this is the original Core Duo MBP? If so, that's about a good price for both of you :).

But yeah, I do agree with benbeck08, I would personally get a new notebook over the Core Duo, its quite old, and the first generation of MBPs ran into heat and other issues. So unless you really want a MBP at that price, I would get something newer :).

If you made a good suggestion you deserve the credit! :) Yeah, definitely check back with the forums, this place is amazing. Really friendly members, great atmosphere. I got that feeling when I was a newbie here (oh I remember the old days...now get off my lawn!) and I try to keep that same atmosphere around here!

It's an okay deal if that's what you want. But as Sam and Ben have said at 1100 dollars there are plenty of other options that may suit your needs better, especially considering the problems that the first generation of MBPs encountered.

If you're really set on a mac, I'd get a new Macbook. I would highly consider getting a PC, much more bang for your buck.

If you have a little more cash to spend, the Santa Rosa MBPs pop into the Refurb store at $1449.

Those are a good bit better than the Rev A MBPs, so I'd suggest getting one of those if you can.
