I don't think such a thing exists. You might be able to do something with Windows 8 because it can run on Arm, but I dont' think Apple even uses arm processors. They use custom built chips. So even that is unlikely.

Windows 7 is built for x86 there is pretty much no way you are getting it on a tablet. The architecture doesn't coincide with the OS.

    Blasphemy!

But you could virtualize Windows through something like Citrix if you wanted. That's more of an enterprise solution though.

arm is an instruction set, like x86. Apple makes their own arm processor, but it's sort of along the lines of intel and AMD both making x86 processors. Apple's arm processor and other arm processors do the same thing.

anyway, you can't run a windows emulator on an ipad.

    1. emulation requires you to be using better hardware than the original. generally, you need to be several times faster. maybe 10x. the iPad has less power than an entry level laptop that just barely gets by on windows 7.

    2. emulation of windows won't be allowed through apple store applications

    3. you might want to consider finding some type of remote login screen sharing application.

If you saw someone running windows on an ipad my guess would be they are using a remote desktop app and connecting to a PC. That actually works pretty well. If you have a good connection you can use MS Office and even flash games.

I dont know about emulator but remote desktops work and they are all similar. i used to use a remote desktop pc application on my ipad and open firefox on my pc from my ipad and basically watching flash on my ipad.

Ive also considered saving some money and just using the remote desktop I have as a way to access my photoshop tool palettes without having to buy the special adobe app.
