Sorry if this is a newbie question, but how can I determine the model/serial number of the LED panel on my MBPs?
    Thanks!

Open it up and look at the sticker on the back of the panel.

Ummmm.... No thanks. I am curious, but not that much :D

I was mainly looking for a software/add-on that would provide me that information (similar to Everest in Windows).

Sorry, as J12 said the rest of the string doesn't show up when pasted here for some reason. The link provided shows the full command line.

I am running Leopard and it comes up with LTN154BT08, Color LCD

It shouldn't matter Leopard vs. Snow Leopard, should it?

does nothing for me, if it reads the calibration profile , mine has never show my lcd make, as some people have told me to it does.

I know my screen is a Samsung anyway , pcwizard told me in bootcamp.

As long as you know what's yours, then it doesn't matter if this works or not. Looks like I have the Samsung panel, too. My desktop monitor is a Samsung and my XPS m1330 had a Samsung panel as well (I had the awful CMO replaced right after receiving it). With all these panels, I am used to the "purplish blues" of Samsungs now :D
