How do I stop that? Leopard just can't see my DVD's, but Windows XP in VMWare does instead.

I point mine to a .iso file in a folder I have of ISO's. So in my documents/Virtual Machines/ISO/xpsp2.iso.

That way I still have the CD drive up and running and I can point it at the real drive when I need to.

I find that when I insert a disc, depending on which window has focus, that OS gets rights. i.e. Just click back to Leopard before putting the disc in, so that the XP/Vista window isn't your primary window. I had this last night when using a memory card. Had to click back to any Leopard window for it to be picked up.

In Vmware in the bottom right corner you will see a bunch of usb symbols and a cd symbol. You can just click on those to disconnect or connect the item.

So if youre in vmware just click it and it will turn on, click again itll turn off.

Though you have to have the virtual machine running to change these things i think.
