    I can't find a 2.53 Mac Book Pro anywhere in Houston. What's the deal? Is this another iPhone situation? I don't want to order one online.

    It's the same here in the UK i had no choice in the end but to order one online (order placed monday) and the expected delivery date is the 7th of november.

    Really?? I'm from houston texas too and I was just at the apple store memorial city mall just yesterday and they had plenty of the 2.5ghz new mbp models.

    Same in Maryland. The apple store blew through them so I ordered online. Ordered very early tuesday morning and I expect to see it tomorrow/Monday.

    hmm wow 2.2ghz?? They dont stock those anymore lol.

    Are you sure? I saw 2 other ppl purchasing the 2.53ghz model too and leaving with them. I asked the front girl for the 2.5ghz but I changed my mind at the last second and just told her nevermind.

    Just finished talking to the manager. They have a bunch of the 2.4s (sorry). So far they have not received any 2.53s in the store.

    This is very very strange.. Are we talking about the same memorial city mall?? I asked them 2 days ago and they told me yes we do have the 2.5ghz new macbook pro and then I went to the apple store yesterday and they told me they had it as well.. hmm..
