I googled MacBook hacks, googled Smackbook, got some iAlertU or something, shadowbook or something relative, but I'm looking for more of a list.

Thank you very much! I don't have my MBP yet, and am just curious of the toys.

I plan to order tomorrow, after seeing what Apple have come up with the new nano, so I can get an easier deal with my student discount.

    SmackBook is for the...drumroll....MacBook.

SmackBook Pro is for the ___________ (fill in the blank). Hint: MacBook Pro.

The MacBook's keyboard does not have a backlight, so iSpazz will not work.

iAlertU is for both (click the link).

I'll leave the rest to you to figure out. I'm not trying to be rude here, I have not used them all. The information is right there, you simply have to read it :).

I wonder if this would void your warranty in any way?? (Since applecare always looks for ways to take away our warranties)

I just got smcfan control... and i wonder if my fans go bad will apple claim that i ruined them by over clocking them?

There's not really any way they can tell that you "overclocked" the fans (other than seeing SMCFanControl on your Mac ;)). You could just be running intensive applications constantly, causing the fans to go high-speed.

Don't forget to grab Shadowbook which takes advantage of the light sensors on your computer to switch desktops or whatever you want. XD

Just wave your hand over a speaker and bam!
