I am looking for an aftermarket charger for a 13" Macbook Pro because OEM is too expensive. When I typed in the serial on Apple's website, I get this:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010) - Technical Specifications
While searching, I noticed there are two types of charger plugs: one has a plug that goes straight in from the front; the other one goes in from the side. The original one I have goes in from the side (L-shape). Are they the same?
Will this work? It does not list my model:
High Quality MagSafe Power Adapter Charger Supply Apple 13" MacBook Pro A1134 | eBay

It looks like it would work, but I wouldn't trust any "non-genuine" (as that auction states) charger. You pay less up front, but could very well end up costing more in the long run should the unit itself fail or cause damage to the notebook.
I would buy a used original part every day over a knock-off of questionable origin, especially since the item here comes with a 90-day warranty. -
I 2nd the used charger. 3rd party chargers are usually very poor quality.
