    Anyone play games on the macbook pro with the 8600 GT 256?

    I have a gaming desktop but Id love to try a game on the macbook pro for fun. ideas?

    Which sites have downloadable games for mac? even if they are pay games...eb only have downloadable for windows that I see?

    hah... Well Warcraft , WoW, StarCraft, Diablo.... :p aside from that their's some flash games out there... Or SIMS2! :)

    If you really want to explore further get Crossover and play some TF2!

    i would try counter strike source through crossover. it runs better than tf2. at medium settings and full resolution you can actually get decent frame rates.

    Boot camp is definitely your best bet. The only games I have set up on my OSX side are Second Life and Porrasturvat..lol.

    I'd say go BootCamp lol.

    Or just play Blizzard games like someone mentioned earlier.

    If you don't want Windows then Just download Crossover but the only downside is that it runs games on DX8. I prefer BootCamp though.

    Just WoW. You will get the same frame rates in it in either XP or OS X. Since thats pretty much the only game I play on PC... great for me :-D
