Which mice do you use with your Macbooks and MBPs?

Wacom Intuos 3 6x11 and Apple Wired Mighty Mouse, both work flawlessly, and I really like the Mighty Mouse actually, really light weight and has never had any issues. I don't use my Mac for any type of gaming, just for creating, film/animation/illustration. So having a good lightweight wired mouse and a tablet ready to go really makes things super efficient.
I have the new thin wired Apple keyboard as well, and could not be happier with it, quite possibly my favorite keyboard I have ever used.
and the Wacom, absolutely the greatest thing ever created. -
Logitech MX518 at home and Logitech V270 on the road. Also occasionally use Logitech MX300. Logitech mice ftw!

stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
right now im just stuck with a little microsoft wireless notebook mouse. but sonner or later ima get around to buying a logitech mx/vx revolution
-
I bought a really nice portable mouse. Found the MBP trackpad so nice that I ussually can't be bothered to connect the mouse
Except on special occasions, i.e. gaming. -
I still use a Logitech Optical Mouse. It works fine, even without installing any additional drivers in both OS X and Windows. It depends on your needs though. This mouse is very basic.
I'm looking for a new Bluetooth mouse now. Probably either the Logitech V470 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks or the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000. I'm leaning towards the Microsoft one. -
Just the basic MS wireless mouse. Can't beat it! I have tried all kinds of other mice including the MX Revolution, and just can't give up the comfort of the MS mouse. Guess I have gotten used to it.
-
I also use the Targus V270 - all the time, not just on the road. Watch for it at Staples, it was $15 a couple of weeks ago. The wireless is great, and it works on all sorts of surfaces (table top, arm of the chair, pant leg).

I come from gaming on a PC, so I have a Razer Tarantula. Never had any problems with it, and you can reprogram the buttons to do different keystrokes or macros if thats your thing.
Razer also has a portable bluetooth mouse that looks pretty neat, the Pro Click Mobile pretty small and looks nice. -

i'm actually using a Logitech MouseMan Dual Optical mouse that's like 6years old now.. still works like a charm, so why switch?
-
Some crappy Logitech mouse
.
-
Yea when im out and about I use some old logitech mouse, with electrical tape holding the wire together ;p

Im using the logitech v220. Its a nice, cheap wireless mouse.
-
I use a vx revolution. it's an awesome mouse, as long as you use the steermouse driver instead of the logitech one, which makes the laptop kernel panic like it's on crack.
-
I have a Logitech G5. I love the weight of it, the cord is hard wearing and it's metallic looks go well with my MBP
.
Gave up on cordless a while ago after one failure too many during PvP sessions.

I use the VX Nano and love it. I second the don't use the Logitech software. My MBP/Leopard would kernel panic out of sleep mode every time with it installed. -
I just ordered Vx nano =)
So you guys advise not to install logitech drivers? What is 'steermouse' ? -
I still use my old microsoft wireless desktop 4000 mouse. I prefer the macbook's keyboard so when I am at home on my desk I use that mouse. Other than that the touchpad is good enough I guess.
-
Yes, the MacBook keyboard is really nice. It looks nice and feels nice.
-
I'd think the mouse will function find without the drivers, but you wouldn't be able to customize the buttons, or do whatever the drivers do.
Steermouse is a program that lets you set what your mouse buttons do (like having middle click "press" f9, or whatever else)
So if you cant program your mouse to do keystrokes, etc(like a razer mouse ;p), then I guess you could use that. -
logitech MX 400 for the macbook and VX revolution for the macbook pro.
logitech seems to be dropping in build quality lately
btw, i didn't install any driver in order to avoid any "issue". -

Logitech MX610+SteerMouse 3.8 = heaven for me. I tried the VX Revolution but it just wasn't comfortable to me, and Logitech's Mac drivers are buggy and unstable. SteerMouse lets me customize everything, and it works perfectly across all applications and games I use in OS X. SteerMouse costs money, but it was cheaper than buying a whole new mouse.

I originally used a wireless mighty mouse.
HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
After a few months dirt got caught in the scroll wheel so it was unable to scroll.
Right click is a pain.
Not good for gaming at all.
It lags a little.
Not worth the money.
I reccomend the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Mouse.

Am I the only person that can't stand the way mice track in Leopard? Tracking in Windows is so much better in my opinion.. Leopard's mice tracking seems to have too much of a slope in acceleration when you move faster compared to slow.. If I move slowly, it's WAYYY too slow.. and when I move faster, it's WAYYY too fast.. I tried to mess with the tracking speeds and they all accelerate the same. Ugh. Windows atleast has tracking accelleration right.

Have you tried SteerMouse? It has options for changing the tracking speed and sensitivity.

Thanks for the rep, too. -
I'm thinking about getting a Razer Pro|Click Mobile the nice one (it's white so it'll match my macbook =) ) I saw the review on it and seemed pretty good, as anyone tried playing games with it?
