    better buying a mbp online or going down to the mac store? Reason am asking this is because the closes mac shop is about 50 miles away from my house so its kinda inconvenient for me. By the way am going college, so am trying decide on which is better education discount online or the store price.

    Same discount pretty much either way. I recommend the online store, or at least buying over the phone since the service you get is pretty consistent. Store service and especially "genius" support can be very iffy depending on the store you go to.

    You'll also be able to customize your MBP over the phone or online, whereas you're more likely to be stuck with stock models in the store.

    Just factor in the shipping time since it does take a few days longer. Apple is generous about offering free overnight shipping though.

    I agree with taelrak, you have more customization available ordering online, but you will get your new MBP right away if you get it in store. I'd just get it online.

    I just use my Northface backpack with a Waterfield sleeve and gear pouch. ;) Waterfield stuff is awesome. Excellent quality and perfect fit.
