Alright, was tied up on a phone call trying to find a piece of information, and I stupidly inserted a 3" cd into my superdrive.... (yes, stupid I know..)
Anyway to get this out of my drive?
Or am I in need of my first Mac repair trip?
Thanks, appreciate the advice!

If it doesn't come out through the Eject key, best to take it to a certified technician, I'd say.

Shut down your Mac, hold down the eject key, and restart your Mac while still holding down the eject key. If that doesn't work, then you will most likely have to take it to an Apple store.

That's the down side of slot-loading drives: They can't handle those mini-cd's. My daughter tried to burn a regular cd in my old mini. It won't come out. It isn't mounted so there's nothing for me to click on and eject it. I guess I'll have to use the hold eject while booting technique to get it out. Glad I saw this thread

Thanks for the tips guys, never heard of the boot and hold eject.

Well? Did it work?

From the sounds of it, I'd say he got it fixed

Whoops, stupid issue I need advice for!
