Im not talking about in this thread rob; you have nothing to prove to me.

Even if its true? If you're looking at two laptops with no OS on them, with pretty much the exact same specs, which would you get, the $1500 one, or the $2500 one? Im not saying that Macs are crap because they're more expensive than Windows; I havent used an apple computer since the late 90s and as such I dont have an opinion on how good or bad OSX may or may not be. But when $$ is an issue, that $1500 PC all of a sudden looks very welcoming when compared to the $2500.

You dont have to bash Windows; Windows users do that for you

But are all the Windows users that come to Mac threads attempting to flame? Some users that do attempt to post good arguments and try to make productive comments get "Macs are invincible and can't get virus's and your PC is just garbage". Now, Yes, I will concede to the fact that Windows users do say things like " Your Mac is overpriced and can't play this game til 2015" or something stupid like that, but the people who make stupid comments and the people try to have a productive argument get lost in the shuffle.

If you look in the parenthesis, you'll note I say, the Mac users that I know; there are over 40,000 students here, knowing them all isnt possible. And again, this is subjective; the people you know are different than the people I know. Im not stating that all Mac users, completely swear off PCs and never touch them again, just that the Mac users I know do that.

Well, that's really relative, and what someone would consider as "worth it." I'd consider OS X, and all the apps it comes with, and the little hardware perks to be worth the extra coin. Some people don't think the same, and I can understand that even though I don't personally agree. But we're not dealing with laptops with no OS on them. But yes I agree... when money is an issue, Macs aren't a good choice. Don't think they are meant for the budget demographic.

NAS Ghost, the same goes for Mac users. Don't let the few Mac fanboys define the entire Mac crowd. Most of us do not believe Macs are invincible, I particularly make sure to tell anyone interested in switching that that isn't so.

The same is said for Mac users, there are some that make unnecessary, rather arrogant comments and they're the ones that stand out and seem to embody the "Mac user" image. So its not a one-sided thing.
