Why in the heck is there another enter key next to the 2nd command key?

What is the point? Do they feel that if one is broken you can use the other? What useful purpose does this have?

Well I dunno about the two enter keys, but I like the 2nd command key.
You could say why does a normal keyboard have two alts and two ctrl keys.

But I think you missed a much bigger question.

Why no delete key (apples delete is actually a backspace)?

Correction hallownail, you should compare the Command key to the Windows key on windows keyboards.
You could say why does a normal windows keyboard have 2 windows keys. Same principle.

There are not two enter keys on Mac keyboards, there's a Enter key and a Return key. They serve different purposes in specific programs and apps. For example, in some programming apps the Enter key will mean a submit (compile and run the program or something, or finish modifying a property), while the Return key would start a new line.
