The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

LOL 10-15 years for any computer these days is a REALLY long time to last, doesn't matter if it's a desktop or a notebook. No computer made today will last that long. Yes computers from 20 years ago still work today, but they where made different, don't get as hot, aren't as complicated. Long time for a notebook these days is probably close to 5 years (Being used frequently). Also you have to think how much use it gets, "I have a 10 year old notebook that still works!" But it has been sitting in a closet for the last 6 years, Of course it will still work.

Despite requests, you have done nothing to elaborate on your situation or even attempt to let us help you. This thread is closed, as it serves no purpose but to incite further flamewars.

If you are interested, go to the B/S/T section of the forum to see if someone will trade, but I'm not sure you're marketing it properly by going "Trade me something good for this PoS I have!".
