Hello, this is only my second forum post and I've already gotten some very insightful and helpful help, so thank you!

Now my question, will dual/triple booting void AppleCare Protection? I wanted to get a MacBook Pro (8 gb memory and 500 gb HDD), but only on the premise that I can dual or triple boot Windows and/or Linux. I think I should be able to do this, but granted something does go wrong and my HDD is digitally violated, I want to know if my laptop will be protected by AppleCare? I know they give you the boot camp system to be able to dual boot (will boot camp allow triple booting?), but I was still curious whether or not I will be protected

You will be fine. however if you are pushing your system in other operating systems keep your heat in check, I have been denied service due to " excessive stress put on the system " from overheating while rendering video.

If I understand other users well, Linux can be a pain to get working properly, and I know firsthand that Bootcamp drivers for power management, Video and Touchpad are quite sub par.
