    Will apple ship today(saturday)?

    well yesterday they finally put my mbp order to prepared for shipment. from my research after that point they ship the next day. i was wondering if apple will ship it today(saturday) via there shipping source(fedex). i did the 2 day shipping and i did some research and for 2 day fedex ships on saturdays. im hoping it does so i can get it by tuesday.

    I ordered my macbook late friday night and on saturday morning it provided a FedEx tracking # and said it was shipped. However, if you look on the FedEx site, it merely says that the information was received, which means nothing.. It probably hasnt been shipped yet.

    It still has to be picked up from their facility and taken to the FedEx facility to be processed. Nonetheless, the process has started and things should start moving rapidly.

    You guys are lucky. Im hoping the 'Prepared for Shipment' will show up on mine within the next 2 days.
