    Will apple update their ultraportable too?

    no one here knows and know one besides people working at Apple (not the retail stores) knows, anyone that tells you different is a liar.

    just wait and hope, that is the best that anyone can tell you.

    Apple is very smart to not make announcements ahead of time, as it gives less possibility of missing deadlines, like what has happened to Leopard, etc.

    the carefully choose when or when not to make announcements.

    I would jump on one too, only if it were an ultraportable MBP .. not a smaller MB!
