I use a Time Capsule for a wireless router and "easy" backup routine, and many months ago, I ended up having to restore some 130 GB worth of data from that TC.
After completing the restore, much of what was copied over was corrupt. MP3 files wouldn't play, PDFs wouldn't open, that sort of thing.
My question is this: has anyone else experienced reliability issues with wireless TC backups? Ever since then, I've been backing up to the TC manually and making sure a backup process is never interrupted midway by me closing my laptop, but I'm leery as far as counting on it to be a bulletproof backup.

This is concerning me as I have the same set up... Can anyone else chime in?

I do not use wireless for backup, to may places for things to go wrong. Wired ONLY.
The last time I used it several years ago it worked like a top. Maybe your hd was having a problem reading and TM ended up getting corrupted from it.
Did you use TM for the full restore or after you installed the OS?
I use 3 different methods for backup. TM, Carbon Copy Cloner, and folder sync. I try to cover all the bases. -
