With the new upgrades, I'm considering getting MB instead of MBP.

I've been waiting for this day. But the new upgrades for the MBP don't seem to be much better than some upgraded graphics. Is that it? Is the MBP any better than the MB for the price difference?

I'm seriously considering just going with the regular MB now.

That's it? What other features does the MBP have that the MB doesn't?

The "Pro" is no longer Pro.

I would be extremely grateful if someone could post a compare/contrast between MB and MBP.

I was originally going to purchase a SonyZ, but was waiting for these to come out. For weight reasons, the 4.5 MB is my only option, (5.5 MBP-too heavy). I do want a tripped out machine, but it does look like you can do that online w/ the MB.

Why is the MBP screen better? What is gfx?

    Thank you!

The MBP has a faster CPU, Faster GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), and a bigger LCD (15.4 inches vs 13.3 inches)

The $1299 MB is probably what you are after, for sure.

Dang you guys are convincing me even more to just get the MB. I just wish the MB had a 15 inch screen. That's the only thing keeping me in considering the MBP.

So if I'm not a gamer, will I be able to even tell a difference between the 9400 and the 9600? Is it very noticeable to someone like myself who isn't really into gaming?

If I do get the MB, do you recommend getting the higher end one with the 2.4GHz processor? Or is there even much of a difference between 2.0 and 2.4?

Thank you! Apple does have a comparison page, but hearing specifics from a person is way more helpful!
