    Very confused. I should have access to the iOS 6.0 simulator, right? How do I fix this?

    iOS 6 is the default.. its already there... so no need for an extra download.

    sure enough, it's installed and I'm a noob. The problem was that I searched spotlight for simulator and didn't find the application, and assumed that meant that it wasn't installed.
