    This is what I did:

Clean install OS X 10.7 -> Updated via software update

Install XCode from the Mac App Store -> Launch XCode

Open Preferences -> Downloads -> Documentation

Clicked "Install" on iOS 5.1, Xcode 4.3.2, and Mac OS X 10.7 Core documentation

The first two worked, the latter does not. I get an exclamation mark where the install button was, and a message that reads: "Failed to download documentation package for Mac OS X 10.7 Core Library. A server with the specified hostname could not be found."

    Any help? Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delay, just logged on.
Move the .docset bundle to /Developer/Documentation/DocSets
Start Xcode. If it doesn't show up, check the file ownership & permissions.
You may or may not need to change them with:
sudo chown -R -P _devdocs *.docset
I can't remember whether I did or not.

    terrific.

notes: the /Developer path has been adjusted to inside the application bundle, and it just figured it out without terminal/permission adjustments
