Seeing as there's a lot of new releases and updates to browsers, I'm wondering which browser you guys like?
I currently use Firefox 4, which was just released.
I have Opera, Chrome and Safari(obviously) installed, but I tend to do most of my stuff in Firefox now.
I have noticed that Chrome and Firefox start the discrete gpu, which I usually switch off manually through gfxCardstatus.
I've also noticed that Chrome seems to handle multiple flash windows (youtube, pandora, random games) better than Safari, though I think Safari offers the smoothest overall browsing experience.
Finally, I benched sunspider 9.1, which isn't an endall test, and the new Firefox 4 came out fastest, with Chrome 2nd and Safari/opera slower.
Which do you all like and for what reason? I'm new to OSX so it would be helpful in deciding which browser to use moving forward.

Firefox 4

I am using FF4 and then some times it is Chrome the whole day. Both of them can open old tabs unlike Safari which is one reason I hate Safari. -
Firefox. You don't like something? Download the source code and change it yourself.

I use Safari for general browsing as it offers a smoother experience. News, research, facebook, email etc...I do all that stuff on Safari.
Anything flash based I do in FF4 because it doesn't crash of often as Safari does. This includes youtube, streaming TV shows, and any flash heavy site. -
Chrome.
Firefox 4 starts the discrete GPU upon launch, Chrome does not, unless you open a Flash website. -
Firefox 3.6.16
Not sure i like Firefox 4's new interface.
What i dislike about Chrome is not being able to point my profile elsewhere.
I keep my Firefox profile in a Encrypted container. -

I really like ff4 over 3.6, I think they did themselves a favor by going minimal

There's a great article on Lifehacker that shows how to make Firefox 4 look and feel more like Firefox 3 again. I highly recommend taking a look; Firefox 4 is definitely faster and more stable in general than 3 is.

Chrome.
Because it's awesome. -
Cool I will have to check that out. I know it is faster, but just not a fan of the interface.
Buy hey that's me. -

There's a pref setting to disable it in Firefox. -
In Windows I really like Firefox 4 and Chrome 10. I find IE9 very unreliable.
In OS X I like Safari. -
Using here only Chrome
Fast and Simple, also doesn't give me flash crashing and isn't slow as Safari & Firefox, until today i haven't found any problems -

I had been strictly using Safari on my MBP as it was faster than the last release of Firefox (though I was using Firefox 3 on all of my Windows machines). I upgraded everything to Firefox 4 and I was going to make the full switch across all of my OS's. Nope, I am sticking to Safari on my MBP as Firefox 4 consumes way too many resources on my system whether I am playing back 1080p HD Flash videos or just surfing a non-Flash site.

Chrome as default, since it's fast and reasonably minimalistic.
Minefield (FF) as backup, for those times I get bored of Chrome.
Safari/Webkit nightly only because I need it as a link between xmarks and my iPhone and iPad to sync bookmarks. There's also the odd site now and then that doesn't work in Chrome or FF....
Opera as the odd one out for when I'm really bored and want a change of scenary. If they had some sort of bookmark syncing feature that works with any other browser, I'd probably use it a lot more. Also, on certain sites, Opera's pdf download behavior works best for me.
And finally, last <del>but not least</del> Parallels/Bootcamp-MSIE <del>9</del>8 for those few ancient govt or proprietary websites that insist on ActiveX or for some other reason force you to use MSIE (and most likely some horrible legacy version too at that - with no support even for MSIE9). -
I've been switching between Safari, chrome and FF4 since FF4 came out.
Chrome was having Youtube embed problems on a forum I use, So I switched to FF4, FF4 was having Youtube problems on Youtube. So I switched to Safari. Safari doesn't display Favicons in tabs WITCH IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING. I end up going from tab to tab trying to find the right one where if it just showed the favicon I would find it in a second. It was also having problems with Netflix and it liked eating my memory. So now I'm back to FF4. For now. -
I started out with Netscape Navigator 1.1 in 1995, and eventually via a host of variations and updates I moved on to Firefox. It's been a long time since I ever felt the urge to stray from that path. FF4 handles everything I need. On Mac, Win or Linux.
